Mythic Eye Press is the brain child of Dave Alber, M.A. and his friends and associates. We wanted to publish works that communicate that mythology is a field of experience much larger than that of an object of academic study or a tool for psychology.

The experience of mythology as being something greater than our limited expectations is what is communicated through Mythic Eye Press publications. For example, To the Dawn is a mythopoetic resacrilization of history and cosmology, which is not inconsistent with modern science. Myth & Medium offers a spiritual, even mystical, way of communing with art through myth.
